I stumbled upon this study by accident. I wanted to see how my silhouette would blend into the TV static on the television. Using a Canon Powershot SD900, I set the camera to ISO 80 (this forced the camera to use a slow shutter speed) and took a series of images one after the other while moving my head and the camera at the same time. Once joined together in the web gallery, I wanted to see how the light and dark areas would help pull all the images together as one. I found that by rearranging the images in the web gallery, also created interesting results.
