Pie Tin Pinhole Camera

When I saw this cherry pie tin at a local thrift store, I couldn't pass it up for $2.50 US. To see the inside of the camera, roll your mouse over the photo. I used black photographic tape for a simple shutter. I also have applied the same taping system that I use on my coffee can pinholes, where I put a piece of blue painters tape on the seam (see top left of image) to let me know the camera is loaded. After I take an exposure I put another piece of black tape over the blue tape to remind me that I have exposed the paper. I use 5x7" photographic paper in this camera.
