EXPOSURE TIME

Obviously your exposure times will vary depending on the lighting conditions and the type of film you're using. I like to use 400 ISO films in this camera to keep my exposure time short around 1-3 seconds. I recommend shooting a test roll first before burning through multiple rolls of film.

This could be one of my favorite pinhole cameras in my camera bag. I really enjoy how small, light and easy it is to use. Often times this is the first camera I grab when deciding which camera to bring on a trip of vacation. And since it's not very large in size, I can easily slip it into a standard size cargo pocket. And since this camera doesn't have a tripod mount of shutter button, you'll have to get use to keeping the camera still white you pull the tape back to make an exposure. I have foudn that by keeping things simple and easy to do, this encourages me to use the camera and be more spontaneous with my exposures.

I'm not going to be listing how to make a PinHolga on my site. Although you can read about how to make one of your own in my book called Pinhole Cameras - A DIY Guide.
