Infrared Photography

When I was in college I experimented creating black and white photos by using Kodak’s HIE high speed infrared film. But now that film is no longer available, I’ve had to find other ways to practice infrared photography. I now use the Hoya R72 infrared filter on the lenses of my Canon G9 and 5D Mark II digital cameras. I’ve always enjoyed how infrared photography can give you a glimpse into a world that normally we can’t see with the naked eye.
