California Natural Light Business Headshot Photography

I love lighting my portraits with soft natural light when I can. I do like a catch light in my subject’s eyes so I often use reflectors to bounce sunlight into the photo. Some people’s eyes are sensitive to the light that being reflected and sometimes will squint if too much light is focused on them. That’s why I always felt it was important to have an assistant that understood lighting and knew how to angle the reflector just right. Many thanks to all my assistants in the past and future.
