Salk Institute experimental architectural photography

Being the photographer at the Salk Institute, I capture a lot of images of architecture and it doesn’t look like this. Most of it is normal stuff like you’d see in an architectural magazine or book. Beautiful sunsets in the courtyard and pictures of people standing by the reflection pool, fountain and River of Life. But in order not to get jaded with my job, I need to relax the rules of photography and experiment a bit. I’m rather pleased with how this image came together and that’s what it’s on the front-page of my website.
