Abstract Black and White Amorphous Experimental Photographic Art
Experimenting with how continuous changing shapes and forms generate when water and air rises up from deep in the earth. As if Izanami-no-Mikoto is speaking to my subconscious mind. Showing me that life is beautiful and worth protecting.
This image was a bit of challenge to process. Adjusting the grayscale so the highlights and the shadows blend together in a harmonious way. I probably could spend hours finessing it but at some point you have to stop and make a decision.
That process reminds me of when I first started writing my first book. I remember telling a friend about the daunting task of beginning to write the first words. She said, “just start writing Chris. Get the idea down and you can come back and finesse it later.” I soon realized the invaluable synergistic relationship the author has with his editor. Put one foot in front of the other and you’ll get there.
