Abstract Organic Circle Black and White Japan Street Photography

This was a tough image to process. At one point I wanted to post a color version of this image that showed some of the red hues mixed into this photo. After thinking about it, the image has so much going on in it that I wanted to simplify it as much as possible. This image has so much complexity to it that almost hurts my brain/eyes to look at it. Regardless, I still find it to be a compelling image.

It begs questions like, “what is it?”, “is there a person in this graphic?”, “what does it mean?”…. “what happened to it?”

I came back to this image later and I had the thought of a bunch of white specs of light (entities) coming together to create these forms. Right angles mixing with round and organic forms to produce order out of chaos. Weathering and enduring the tests of time.
