Years ago I use to use my Canon Powershot G9, 10 and 15 quite a bit. I used a third party attachment that enabled me to use a Hoya R72 infrared filter on the camera. Normally I was only able to do infrared photography with my full size DSLR but with this small and portable set-up, it was easy to use and travel with. I don’t know what it is about infrared that makes me like it so much… maybe it’s close to pinhole photography in the sense that you have to make long exposure or that the images are unique. And photos of people are always kinda freaky. Which suits me.
