Clusters of White wildflowers balls Sphenosciadium Capitellatum

A cluster of white flowers shaped like balls backlit with bright midday sunlight in a meadow in Yosemite National Park in California

In 2012 I was backpacking in with my wife and daughter in the backcountry of Yosemite when we came across this patch of Ranger’s Buttons (Sphenosciadium Capitellatum) in a meadow. I’d never seen this type of wildflower before and was intrigued by how the flowers create a star like cluster when they’re blooming.
