Pentax 67 II 120 Roll Film Portrait Mother Daughter

a woman and a small child standing in a doorway of a metal barn together smiling at the camera

This is the kind of photo that makes me happy. It’s an old portrait to created with my wife and daughter standing in a doorway of barn in Kansas. My wife’s family has lots of farmland in Kansas, so when the children were young we would visit family there. When I was using a lot of film, I often would use my Pentax 67II camera and make portraits, etc. while I was there. That camera is a beast, and toting it around was definitely a labor of love. When you dialed in everything right that 6×7 format negative was awesome. Most medium format cameras at the time shot in square format.
