Walking with elephants in Chiang Mai Thailand

Walking with these elephants down a dirt road just next to the jungle was probably one of the best things I experienced when I was in Thailand. You get to walk, feed and swim with them. I already liked elephants but now I like them even more. These female elephants were rescued from what I was told a hard life and brought to this sanctuary in the mountain North of Chiang Mai. They have plenty of space to roam, they have water to swim in to keep cool and they’re fed delicious rice balls from the guests. I think they like it here.
