de Havilland Canada DHC-2 Beaver

OK it’s time for a confession. I can’t remember where I saw the first Beaver de Havilland Canada DHC-2 plane but it was like love at first sight. I already like planes in general but this one is different than the rest. My wife if not as much of a fan of small aircraft, so she said, go ahead, take a flight. I wasn’t going to argue. I booked a small flight with Tofino air and lucky me flew in the second seat with the pilot next to me. It’s almost like they knew. No. There was another couple in the back two seats. Still lucky me. This pilot was awesome and even set us down so we could go outside on the skids and check out the water. Such a cool plane with such a rich history and past.
