Takeshita Dori Tokyo Japan Street Photography

People walking on Takeshita Street in Harajuku, Tokyo, Japan. You can see an Asian woman with an umbrella and a European woman wearing pink sunglasses and pink scarf up close. You can also see the McDonalds Golden Arches in the background

I’m kind of an old guy (let’s just say I’m over 50), so walking down Takeshita Street made me feel even older. Now, that doesn’t mean I didn’t like it, it was just a lot for me to take in. My wife and I are use to hiking through the woods and visiting Shinto and Buddhist temples, so this was a bit of a shift in perspective. There were so many different types of people from all walks of life and trendy stores which make this spot truly unique.
