Tiger Woods 2013 Farmers Insurance Open Golf Tournament

Having a press pass for the the tournament is quite a privilege and being able to go under the ropes to photograph the pros was exciting. I don’t consider myself a golfer, but I know the etiquette and would never take photographs during the golfers swing. I always waited until after they hit the ball to take photos. I also, I would never put myself in their line of sight or offend other pro photographers by getting in their way or pushing to get a choice spot for taking photos. I remember at the time, Tiger Woods was getting a lot of press and people were really interested in watching him play. I always thought he was good for the game of golf because he brought diversity to the sport. People respected him for how well he played and not for what he looked like. As it should be.
