Palace of Fine Arts Abstract Architecture Black and White

Black and white abstract multiple exposure photograph of the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco, California. bright sunlight and rays of light mixing with the lines on the roman columns

I don’t know what it is about this place (Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco) but it feels otherworldly to me. Of course when visiting in June, I had to remix it in my own special way with this funky in camera double exposure. Also, there’s something timeless about black and white. Once you take the color away, it no longer lives in the world of reality. Color somehow = reality, probably because that’s how we normally see life. Once you convert something into black and white (monochrome), it loses its connection with reality. You have now entered into the world of surrealism.
