When I first bought the Ansco Panda camera, I didn’t think much about it. I liked that it was small but I didn’t like the fact that it took 620 film. At the time, you couldn’t buy 620 film, so I would take 120 film and respell it onto spare 620 spools in a film changing bag. Needless to say, it was a tedious task, so I didn’t use the camera that much. But when I did, like this photo of aspen trees in a forest in Colorado, I was surprised by how interesting the photos would be. Another issue was getting my metal 620 spools back from the film processing lab. Those things are like gold. I would buy cheap 620 cameras on eBay just to get the spools out of them.
