Black Church White Windows Iceland Experimetal Photographic Art
I wonder how many times the black church called Búðakirkja in Iceland has been photographed. When my wife and I visited it while driving the ring road, I can see why. Normally churches are painted white for obvious reasons but this one is different and painted black with white window. Because of that, it really stands out in contrast to the wide open space that it’s located in. Of course I took your normal tourist shot with my wife standing next to it but I also did a series of in camera multiple exposures like this shot. It’s amazing how iconic this church is and those who know of Iceland, know about this church which was built in 1848.
