Years ago when I was a graphic designer we were working on a project and someone had an idea using slices of cut fruit. This was before digital photography was a thing, so I loaded up one of my film cameras and got to work. I put all sorts of fruit on a piece of glass and back-lit it with a strobe. This is a slice of pomegranate that I later added a blue vignette in Photoshop.
