Barefoot Connection with the Earth by Feeling it with Bare Feet

During a layover day on one of our backpacking trips to the Sierras in California, I happened upon a large granite rock near a lake that had some really interesting shapes and textures on it. I This photo is just one of the shots I took. There’s something very satisfying about having your feet touching the ground like this. Especially after wearing hiking boots all day. I just like how my feet and black shorts draw your eye into the textures and lines of the rock.
