Fine Art Seashell Macro Photography San Diego California

A small red seashell tiny black accents photographed with soft in direct sunlight

I remember when I first got my 100mm f/2.8 macro lens, I went crazy taking all sorts of close-up photos with it. Normally with macro photography you stop down to f/11 or 22 but I was more interested in the bokeh this lens could produce at f2.8. That later changed when I got interested in taking photo where I really wanted detail over the whole subject matter. I still like the painterly look this lens gives you when you shoot it wide open.
