What a rare treat it was to walk with these female elephants at an animal sanctuary in a rural farm North of Chiang Mai, Thailand. I was surprised how gentle and kind these they were towards me, even when I was walking just near their huge feet. Apparently they have a good sense of awareness and know where you are at all times. They kept thinking my GoPro 11 camera was something to eat but after awhile they learned it wasn’t that tasty.
