Underwater 35mm film camera photograph
Before I really got into underwater photography, I would buy cheap “waterproof” 35mm film cameras at the thrift store and play around with them in swimming pools. This underwater photo is of my daughter standing on the first step of the pool wearing a red Paul Frank bucket hat. The sparkling round bokeh balls in the foreground is light reflecting off the plastic housing of the camera. I must have activated the flash for this shot. I’ll be honest, I tossed probably 90% of the shots I would take with these cheap underwater cameras… but this image I really like.
